Group them two by two (which is naturally done for telephone numbers) whenever you have to remember several things. Repeat out loud: our short-term memory retains better than images. Verbalize what you want to remember. Your seat on the train? Say it out loud, then put your ticket away.
Information is often better retained if it is associated with an image. Group leaders often ask people to introduce themselves: first name plus, for example, a mimed totem animal to ensure, after two or three repetitions, that everyone knows the first names of the participants.
